CISF Recruitment - 2021 Overview

Post Name: Assistant Sub Inspector (A.S.I.).

Total Vacancies: 690 (SC: 103, ST: 51 and UR: 536).

Salary/Pay Scale: Rs. 34,800 to Rs.1,12,400 Per Month

Category Wise Age Limit

• General: 18 Years to 35 Years
• OBC: 18 Years to 38 Years
• SC/ ST: 18 Years to 40 Years

Selection Procedure: Selection process will be based on Written exam/test, PET, Medical fitness test.

• Stage-1: Checking of service records.
• Stage-2: Written Examination.
• Stage-3: Physical fitness Test.
• Stage-4: Physical Efficiency Test.
• Stage-5: Detailed medical examination.
• Final Selection: Will done according to their performance in written exam/test and being declared “FIT” in detailed medical examination.

Application Submission Fee

• General / OBC / Other State: Rs.1,000/- (One thousand Only).
• SC/ ST: Rs700/- (seven hundred only).
• PH: Rs.10/- (ten only).

Medical Standard

Visual Standards

The candidates will get check for visual standards as per the following parameters:

1. Visual Acuity Unaided (Near vision): Better Eye - N6, Worse Eye - N9.
2. Uncorrected Visual Acuity (Distant Vision): Better Eye 6/6 and Worse Eye - 6/9.
3. Refraction: Visual Correction of any kind will not be permitted even by glasses.
4. CP - 3 by ISIHARA.

Educational Eligibility Criteria

Graduate Degree in any discipline/stream from a recognized board/university / Deemed University Center or established by Act. of State Government.

Exam Patterns

1. General Intelligence & reasoning = 50 Marks.
2. Numerical ability = 50 Marks.
3. Comprehension and communication skill = 50 Marks.
4. General awareness and professional knowledge = 50 Marks.
