Age Limit: Minimum18 years and Maximum 25 years. Relaxation in upper age as per Government guidelines for SC./ST./OBC. (NCL) candidates.
Reservation Posts
SC, ST, EWS and OBC (NCL): Vacancies for SC,ST, EWS and OBC (NCL) candidates are reserved in accordance with Section 3.A (1) and (2) and Section 3.B (1) and (2) both of Chapter 2 of Apprentices Act - 1961 read with Schedule 2 A of Rule 5 of Apprentice-ship Rules 1992.
Physically Handicapped: 3 percent of posts for Apprentice-ship training are reserved in accordance with Section 3.6.2 Chapter-3 of Apprentice-ship Training Manual.

Selection Procedure: Selection process will be on the basis of merit is on the basis of marks obtained in Matriculation marks and ITI marks.
Accommodation: During apprenticeship period selected candidates will have to make their own accommodation.
Payment of Stipend to Apprentices: The minimum rate of stipend per month pay able to apprentices shall be followed (Rule-II of Apprentice-ship Rules, 1992 is relevant).
