The National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL), a government-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, is responsible for developing the high-speed rail corridor projects across India. As part of its commitment to capacity building and advanced rail training, NHSRCL is seeking applications from eligible and experienced railway officers for the post of Vice Principal at the High-Speed Rail Training Institute (HSRTI), Vadodara. This opportunity is offered on deputation basis and aims to bring dynamic, committed professionals into the training leadership of India’s high-speed rail mission.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- The maximum age of the applicant should not be above 55 years as of the closing date of the vacancy notice.
Service Qualification
- The candidate must be an officer belonging to any Indian Railway Service except IRPFS/IRHS.
- Must be currently serving in Senior Grade (SG) or Junior Administrative Grade (JAG).
- Should have completed a minimum of 6 years in Group ‘A’ service.
Experience
- Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in divisional working in Indian Railways.
- Experience in human resource development, training, operations, or infrastructure management will be considered an asset.
Additional Requirements
Eligibility cut-off will be determined as of the closing date of the application.
The applicant must submit a signed declaration stating their commitment not to seek repatriation from NHSRCL for at least five years from the date of appointment.
Salary
Chosen candidates will draw the salary from their parent department in addition to the deputation allowance, in accordance with prevailing government regulations. The grade of posting—AGM, JGM, or DGM—will be determined based on the current level of the selected officer.
Selection Process
The selection process will be based on:
- Screening of Applications: Applications will be scrutinized based on eligibility, experience, and overall profile.
- Clearance Requirements: Applications must be accompanied by vigilance clearance, DAR clearance, and APARs (Annual Performance Appraisal Reports) for the last five years.
- Final Approval: Selection will be finalized upon receipt of all required documents from the parent organization. NHSRCL will evaluate eligibility by reviewing the candidate’s service background and relevant training experience.
