Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational & Professional Qualifications

  • Candidates must have retired from SBI or its Associate Banks (e-ABs) in the SMGS-IV/V grade.
  • Preference will be given to those candidates who have audit experience.

2. Age Limit

  • Maximum Age: Applicants should not exceed 63 years of age as of 02/04/2025.
  • Retirement Age: Candidates must have retired at the age of 60 years (or at 58 years with at least 30 years of service).

3. Other Conditions

  • Disciplinary Action: No disciplinary action should be pending or taken against the candidate in the last 5 years before retirement.
  • Criminal Cases: No criminal cases should be pending against the applicant.
  • Medical Fitness: Candidates must be in medically fit condition.
  • Employment During Contract: Candidates cannot be engaged in any other job during the contract period.

Salary Structure

The monthly salary for the ERS Reviewer position will be based on the grade held by the retired officer in their last position. The compensation details are as follows:

  • SMGS-IV: ₹50,000
  • SMGS-V: ₹65,000

Note: No additional benefits such as Provident Fund (PF) or medical coverage will be provided.

Selection Process

The recruitment for the ERS Reviewer role will follow a two-step process:

  1. Shortlisting
    Candidates will be shortlisted based on their eligibility and relevant work experience.
  2. Interview
    Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
  • The interview will be conducted and scored on a scale of 100 marks. The minimum qualifying marks will be decided by SBI.
  • In case of a tie in the interview scores, priority will be given to the older candidate.
  1. Final Merit List
    The final selection will be based solely on interview performance, with the merit list released after the interview phase.

Contract Duration & Terms

  • Initial Contract Period: The contract will be for one year, extendable for up to three years or until the candidate reaches 65 years of age, whichever comes first.
  • Termination Clause: Either party (the candidate or the bank) can end the contract by providing a 30-day notice.
  • Leave Policy: The contract includes 30 days of leave per year, calculated on a pro-rata basis for shorter contract terms.
