Joint General Manager (Electrical)

Location: Ranchi

Scale of Pay: Rs. 90,000 – 240,000/- (E-6 IDA)

Age Limit: Below 57 years

Eligibility Criteria

Alternatively, candidates with four years of experience in the IDA E-6 pay scale (Rs. …) are also eligible to apply. 90,000-240,000) are also eligible to apply.

The requirements for qualifications and experience for each position are detailed below.

For General Manager (Electrical):

Applicants should either be currently serving in an equivalent grade (CDA/IDA) or have completed 17 years of service in Group ‘A’ at Level-13 (CDA).

Alternatively, candidates with four years of service in the IDA E-7 grade (Rs. 100,000-260,000) are also eligible to apply.

For Addl. General Manager (Electrical):

Applicants should be working in a comparable grade (CDA/IDA) or must have 12 to 14 years of experience in Group ‘A’ at Level-13 (CDA).

Alternatively, candidates with four years of experience in the IDA E-6 pay scale (Rs. …) are also eligible to apply. 90,000-240,000) are also eligible to apply.

For Joint General Manager (Electrical):

• Applicants should be holding a position in a comparable grade (CDA/IDA) or have 8-12 years of experience in Group ‘A’ at Level-12 (CDA).
• Alternatively, candidates with four years of service in the IDA E-5 grade (Rs. 80,000-220,000) are also eligible to apply.

• Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in construction organizations, as the role requires involvement in large-scale railway infrastructure projects.
• Age Limit: Candidates applying for these positions must be below 57 years of age on the closing date of the application process.

Salary

The salary for each position is as follows:

1. General Manager (Electrical)
   • Scale of Pay: Rs. 120,000 – 280,000/- (E-8 IDA)
2. Addl. General Manager (Electrical)
   • Scale of Pay: Rs. 100,000 – 260,000/- (E-7 IDA)
3. Joint General Manager (Electrical)
   • Scale of Pay: Rs. 90,000 – 240,000/- (E-6 IDA)

In addition to the above-mentioned pay scale, selected candidates will also be entitled to various allowances and benefits in accordance with RVNL’s policies, such as medical facilities, pension schemes, and other benefits as applicable to the respective grade.

Selection Process

The selection process for these posts will be based on the immediate absorption basis. The process involves the following steps:
