Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on July 1, 2025):
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
- Age Relaxation: Applicable as per government rules for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen).
Educational Qualification:
Candidates applying for the ALP posts must possess any of the following qualifications:
- Graduate Degree from a recognized university.
- Diploma in Engineering from a recognized institution.
- ITI Certificate from NCVT/SCVT in relevant trade.
Selection Process
The selection process for RRB ALP Recruitment 2025 consists of multiple stages:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) – Stage 1
- Objective-type questions covering Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness.
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) – Stage 2
- Divided into two parts:
- Part A: Questions on Mathematics, Basic Science & Engineering, General Intelligence & Reasoning.
- Part B: Trade-specific questions based on ITI/Diploma syllabus.

- Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)
- Conducted for candidates who clear Stage 2 CBT.
