The Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA), functioning as a statutory organization under the Ministry of Railways, invites applications from qualified officers currently serving with Indian Railways for appointment to the The post of Executive Director (Finance) is to be appointed on a deputation arrangement. Constituted through a Gazette Notification in 2006, RLDA is tasked with the development and commercial utilization of vacant and surplus railway land, including the air space above railway stations. This initiative not only generates significant non-fare revenue for Indian Railways but also promotes efficient urban development around transit corridors.

Eligibility Criteria

Required Service Background:

• The applicant must be an officer of the Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS).
• Must be currently working in Senior Administrative Grade (SAG) under Level-14 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC).

Minimum Experience:

• The candidate must possess a minimum of 20 years of service in Group ‘A’.
• Desirable exposure to the following domains:
  • Land Management
  • Real Estate Development
  • Contract Management
  • Project Financing
  • Valuation and Commercial Assessment

Officers with a diverse finance background and who have worked in large infrastructure/public-private partnership (PPP) projects will be preferred.

Salary and Perks

Pay Scale:

• The post carries the pay scale of Level-14 (7th CPC) which is equivalent to Senior Administrative Grade (SAG) in Indian Railways.
