Role Overview
As an Account Technology Strategist (ATS), you will be at the forefront of Microsoft’s digital transformation initiatives, serving industry-specific customers in a transformative role. Your primary mission is to dissect customer industries, map industry trends to a technical foundation, and enable customers to adopt innovative solutions that redefine their business operations. The ATS works as a virtual CTO, combining technical acumen, industry expertise, and leadership to deliver a revolutionary impact.
You will aim to position Microsoft Azure Cloud, Modern Workplace solutions, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 as the preferred platforms for the customer’s line-of-business, while ensuring legacy systems are respected when necessary. As an ATS, you will report directly to the Sales Manager, owning the CIO/CTO relationship and contributing to the CEO/CFO relationships alongside Account Executives.

1. Mastering the Customer’s Industry:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the customer’s industry, market dynamics, and operational challenges.

- Challenge traditional mindsets by introducing innovative solutions and ideas that highlight Microsoft’s unique value proposition.
3. Leadership:
- Orchestrate cross-functional technical teams to navigate complex digital transformation journeys.
- Cultivate a culture of collaboration with teams, ensuring engagement and alignment of interests.
4. Technical Architecture Ownership:
- Lead the design and implementation of technical architectures tailored to industries such as:

5. Technical Sales Leadership:

Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in digital transformation roles.
- 5+ years of experience leading technical teams.
- 10+ years of experience in technical sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- Training or education in business, sales, or marketing is an added advantage.
- Experience in business consulting or consultative selling is highly desirable.
