Job Overview
The Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) is looking for a qualified individual to fill the post of Deputy CPM/PM (Electrical) on a deputation basis. This is a unique opportunity for experienced professionals from the Central/State Government, CPSUs, and similar organizations to contribute their expertise in the Electrical Department at DFCCIL’s Ajmer office.

Position Details
- Job Title: Deputy CPM/PM (Electrical)

- Duration of Appointment: Initial 3 years, extendable up to 5 years (subject to exemption by DPE from the rule of immediate absorption)
Eligibility Criteria
- Service:
- The position is open to officers from the Indian Railways Electrical Department (IRSEE), Central Government, CPSUs, or equivalent entities.
- Age Limit:
- Applicants must be 55 years or younger as of the closing date of this notice.
- Pay Scale:
- The selected candidate will receive their parent pay plus deputation allowance in addition to the perks and allowances applicable as per DFCCIL’s policies.
Specific Requirements for Different Grades
- Deputy CPM (AGM):
- Officers from Central/State Government in an analogous grade (Level-13A) in the relevant field.
- Alternatively, those in Selection Grade (Level-13) with at least 12 years of service in Group A in the relevant discipline.
- Or employees in Rs. 90,000-240,000 (IDA) (E6) with a minimum of four years’ service in the current grade.
- Deputy CPM (JGM):
- Officers from Central/State Government in an analogous substantive grade (Level-13) in the relevant field.
- Or those in Junior Administrative Grade (JAG) (Level-12) with 8-12 years of service in Group A.
- Alternatively, PSU employees in the analogous grade or employees in Rs. 80,000-220,000 (IDA) (E5) with four years’ service in the grade.
- PM (DGM):
- Central/State Government officers holding Senior Scale (Level-11) positions or having 10 years’ service in Group B with a Level-10 cadre post.
- Alternatively, PSU employees in analogous positions or employees in Rs. 70,000-200,000 (IDA) (E4) with four years’ service in the grade.
Role and Responsibilities
The person selected will be tasked with managing the planning, design, and construction of critical infrastructure, including:
- Overhead Electrical Equipment
- Traction Substations
- SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) Systems
- General Power Supply Systems
This role demands hands-on experience with Traction Distribution and Railway Electrification, ensuring a strong background in the electrical field.
