The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology (SDAU), Sardarkrushinagar, Banaskantha, Gujarat, is conducting a walk-in interview for recruitment under the new plan scheme “Strengthening of Centre for Bio Research” (BSRC). The available positions are temporary and contractual, with a tenure of 11 months from the date of appointment. Eligibility Criteria

1. Research Associate (240 Post)

• Educational Qualification:
  • Essential:
    • Ph.D. in Plant Biotechnology/ Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology OR
    • M.Sc. / M.Sc. (Agriculture) in Plant Biotechnology/Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology with a 4/5-year Bachelor’s degree and at least 60% marks or 1st Division, along with 2 years of research experience.
  • Desirable:
    • Experience in Tissue Culture and Molecular Marker Technology.
• Age Limit:
  • Maximum Age for Men: 40 years
  • Maximum Age for Women: 45 years

2. Young Professional-I (260 Post)

• Educational Qualification:
  • Essential:
    • B.Sc. in Biotechnology or Agricultural Biotechnology.
• Age Limit:
  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 45 years
• Desirable:
  • Experience in conducting laboratory experiments and handling laboratory equipment.

Salary/Emoluments

1. Research Associate:
   • ₹67,000 per month + HRA for Ph.D. holders
   • A monthly salary of ₹61,000 plus HRA for candidates with a Master’s Degree.
2. Young Professional-I:
   • ₹30,000 (fixed) per month

Selection Process

• Walk-in Interview:
  Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on their qualifications and experience, with the walk-in interview being the final stage of the selection process.
• Documents Verification:
  Candidates will be required to present the original documents for verification during the interview.
