Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) Ltd., a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh, is inviting applications from experienced, dynamic, and motivated professionals to fill the position of General Manager (Operations). The role is offered on a deputation basis for qualified Indian nationals.

Eligibility Criteria

A. Minimum Qualification and Work Experience

  1. Essential Qualification:
    A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the following engineering disciplines from a recognized university/institute:
    • Electrical
    • Mechanical
    • Electronics & Telecommunication
    • Electronics & Communication
    • Electrical & Electronics
  2. Essential Work Experience:
    • At least 17 years of Group A/Executive experience in the government sector.
    • Expertise in Metro Rail/Railways/RRTS operations, including:
      • Operational safety
      • Training-related matters in operations

B. Present Pay Requirement

Candidates must be in regular service and meet one of the following criteria:

  1. Currently working in:
    • IDA Pay Scale: INR 1,20,000 – 2,80,000
    • CDA Pay Scale: INR 1,44,200 – 2,18,200 (L-14)
  2. Alternatively, candidates with at least three years of service in:
    • IDA Pay Scale: INR 1,00,000 – 2,60,000
    • CDA Pay Scale:
      • INR 1,31,100 – 2,16,600 (L-13A)
      • INR 1,23,100 – 2,15,900 (L-13)

Selection Process

The selection process will assess the candidates’ knowledge, skills, experience, aptitude, and physical ability. It may include:

  1. Written Test (if the number of applicants is large)
  2. Personal Interview
  • Selection will be conducted offline by NMRC.
  • No travel or accommodation arrangements will be provided for outstation candidates.
  • The management reserves the right to modify or cancel the selection process at any stage.

Compensation Package

  1. Selected candidates will have the option to:
    • Continue drawing their parent department pay with applicable deputation allowances.
    • Opt for NMRC pay and allowances under the IDA pattern.
  2. Posting Locations:
    Candidates may be posted at any of NMRC’s offices or project sites in India or abroad during their tenure.
