Role Overview

SAP is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Developer – Cloud Operations to join our Master Data Integration (MDI) service team in Bangalore. Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Developer, you will:

  • CI/CD Development and Maintenance: Design, develop, and manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring the smooth deployment and testing of the MDI service.
  • Tool Integration: Implement and maintain security and code scanning tools, observability solutions, and data visualization platforms.
  • Problem-Solving and Collaboration: Proactively identify and resolve issues, contributing to team success with a high level of quality and efficiency.
  • Infrastructure Management: Support the development team by providing and managing necessary infrastructure, ensuring optimal development experiences.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply state-of-the-art methods to enhance work processes.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Technical Expertise:

  • Proficient in advanced programming, particularly with TypeScript (TS), JavaScript (JS), and shell scripting.

Cloud Operations Knowledge:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Cloud Foundry, alongside expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
