Job Purpose

The Centre Manager will play a critical role in promoting financial literacy, sourcing quality customers, ensuring smooth loan disbursements, and maintaining high collection efficiency. Key Responsibilities

  1. Village Surveys and Prospecting
    • Conduct surveys in selected villages to identify potential customers.
    • Organize community briefings to explain Bajaj Finserv’s Microfinance (JLG) product offerings.
    • Build relationships with community members to encourage participation.
  2. Customer Acquisition and Group Formation
    • Source new customers in allocated locations.
    • Form Joint Liability Groups (JLGs) to promote financial literacy and credit discipline.
    • Collect and validate necessary documentation through the Loan Origination System (LOS).
  3. Loan Disbursement and Center Meetings
    • Coordinate with the Branch Manager for loan approvals and the Credit Operations Officer for disbursements.
    • Schedule and conduct center meetings, ensuring 100% participation.
    • Address customer queries, promote loan top-ups, and cross-sell additional financial products.
  4. Portfolio Management and Collections
    • Manage a portfolio of 450–500 customers, ensuring regular collections and loan repayments as per the schedule.
    • Deposit recoveries at designated points and reconcile with credit and operations teams.
    • Monitor the end use of loans to ensure compliance with organizational guidelines.
  5. Compliance and Reporting
    • Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines.
    • Prepare daily task reports and submit them to the Branch Manager.
    • Ensure zero audit findings by maintaining high compliance standards across the portfolio.
