Contract Details
- Initial appointment is on a five-year contract (including a probation period), renewable based on performance until the age of superannuation (60 years).
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Applicants must hold degrees from recognized institutions (UGC/AICTE-approved). Equivalent grading systems should be supported by documentation.
- Experience: Relevant post-qualification experience is mandatory. Industrial/apprenticeship training will not be counted as experience.
Age Limit:
The maximum age limit differs according to the category:
- UR/EWS: 30 years
- ST: 35 years
- OBC-NCL: 33 years
- PwD (varies): 40–45 years
Reservation and Relaxation Guidelines
Reservations are as per Government of India norms. Candidates claiming benefits must submit valid certificates in prescribed formats.
- OBC certificates must specify the candidate does not belong to the creamy layer.
- PwD candidates require at least 40% disability for eligibility.
- Ex-servicemen and government employees with specified service durations are eligible for additional age relaxation.
