Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) Limited, a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat, is responsible for developing metro rail infrastructure across the state. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for various contract-based positions in the Ahmedabad and Surat Metro Projects.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• For Safety Roles: BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering + 1-year full-time Diploma in Safety (Government recognized).
• For QA/QC Roles: BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering (additional Diploma in Quality preferred).

Experience Required

• Deputy General Manager:
  • 8 years (Govt./PSUs) with 6 years relevant experience.
  • OR 10 years (private sector) with 6 years relevant experience.
• Assistant Manager:
  • 5 years (Govt./PSUs) with 4 years relevant experience.
  • Alternatively, a total of 7 years of experience in the private sector, including at least 4 years in a related role.
• Section Engineer:
  • 4 years (Govt./PSUs) with 3 years relevant experience.
  • Alternatively, 5 years of private sector experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a pertinent field.

Age Limit

• Deputy General Manager: Candidates must be below 45 years of age for contract appointments, while the upper age limit for deputation positions is 58 years.
• Assistant Manager & Section Engineer: 32 years (Contract)
