Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates should have graduated in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India.
Age Limit (As of 1st January 2025)
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 28 years
- Age relaxations apply as per government norms for reserved categories.
Language Proficiency
- Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the local language of the respective state for which they are applying.
Selection Process
The selection process comprises two main stages:
- Online Written Examination
- General / Financial Awareness – 25 Marks
- English Language – 25 Marks
- Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude – 25 Marks
- Computer Knowledge – 25 Marks
- Total Marks: 100
- Exam Duration: 90 minutes
- The English language test is qualifying in nature, meaning its marks will not be considered in the merit list.
- Local Language Test
- Candidates must prove proficiency in the local language of the respective state.
- Those who have studied the local language at the 10th or 12th standard level do not need to take this test.
Stipend & Benefits
- Total Stipend: ₹12,000 per month (including Government of India support).
- Bank Contribution: ₹7,500
- Government Contribution: ₹4,500 (credited directly to DBT-enabled bank accounts)
- No additional allowances or benefits will be provided.
Training & Certification
- Engagement Period: One year
- Apprenticeship does not guarantee employment with the Bank of India.
- Upon successful completion, candidates will receive a Proficiency Certificate issued by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT).

- Submit Application Form & Pay Fees
- Once shortlisted, candidates will be required to pay the application fee and submit the final application.
Exam Process & Guidelines
- Candidates will receive their exam details after completing their application.
- The exam will be conducted online using a laptop, desktop, tablet, or smartphone with a front camera.
- Candidates must present their original ID proof during the examination.
- No external assistance will be allowed except for PwBD candidates.
