AIIMS, Mangalagiri Invites Applications for Faculty Positions in Multiple Disciplines

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Mangalagiri, an Autonomous Institution of National Importance, is one of the newly established AIIMS under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY). This prestigious healthcare institute is being set up by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, with the goal of addressing regional disparities in quality healthcare and promoting the progress of medical education and research across the nation. AIIMS Mangalagiri aims to provide top-tier medical care and also offers specialized graduate, postgraduate, and higher medical education and training.

AIIMS Mangalagiri invites applications from qualified individuals for various faculty posts through Direct Recruitment, Deputation, Retired Faculty on Contractual Basis, and under the SRESTA scheme. These posts are available in different medical and allied departments. Application Fees:

The fee details for each category are provided below:

UR/EWS/OBC: Rs. 3,000 (plus Rs. 100 processing fee) – Total Rs. 3100

SC/ST/Women: Rs. 2,000 (plus Rs. 100 processing fee) – Total Rs. 2100

Applicants belonging to the PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) category are not required to pay the application fee (Rs. ).

Vacancies:

AIIMS Mangalagiri is offering a total of 442 faculty vacancies across various medical departments. The table below provides details on the departments, job titles, and the available vacancy categories.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualifications and Experience: The eligibility criteria for the various posts vary based on the designation and the medical or non-medical qualifications required. For medical candidates, essential qualifications include an MBBS degree with relevant postgraduate qualifications (MD/MS) or superspecialization qualifications (DM/MCh). Non-medical candidates should hold a Master’s degree in the respective discipline with a Doctorate (PhD).
• Age Limit:
  • Professor: Not exceeding 58 years
  • Additional Professor: Not exceeding 58 years
  • Associate Professor: Not exceeding 50 years
  • Assistant Professor: Not exceeding 50 years
• Age relaxation will be provided for reserved categories and PwBD candidates as per government rules.

Salary Details:

Direct Recruitment:

• Professor: Pay Scale at Level 14-A of the Pay Matrix, starting from a minimum of Rs. 1,68,900
• Additional Professor: Pay Scale at Level 13-A2+ of the Pay Matrix, with a starting salary of Rs. 1,48,200.
• ​Associate Professor: Pay Scale at Level 13-A1+ of the Pay Matrix, starting with a minimum salary of Rs. 1,38,300
• Assistant Professor: Pay Scale at Level 12 of the Pay Matrix, with a minimum salary of Rs. 1,01,500.
• Retired Faculty on Contract:
• Professor (Consultant): Rs. 2,20,000/- per month (Rs. 24,000/- deductions for accommodation)
• Additional Professor (Consultant): Rs. 2,00,000/- per month (Rs. 22,000/- deductions for accommodation)
• Associate Professor (Consultant): Rs. 1,88,000/- per month (Rs. 20,000/- deductions for accommodation)

Selection Process:

The selection process will be carried out by the Standing Selection Committee, which will review the applications and conduct interviews for the shortlisted candidates. The selection process will consider qualifications, experience, and interview performance.
