Educational Qualification and Experience





  • The basic requirement is a pass certificate in class 12 from a recognized board or university.
  • For the post of DEO in the office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India, applicants must have studied science and math as main subjects in Class 10+2.

Admission to the Examination





In addition to the Admission Certificate, it is required to carry at least two (2) passport size recent color photographs, Original valid Photo-ID proof having the Date of Birth (DOB) as printed on the Admission Certificate.





Aadhaar Card/ Printout of E-Aadhaar, Voter’s ID Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport, ID Card issued by University/College School, Employer ID Card (Govt./PSU), Ex-serviceman Discharge Book issued by Ministry of Defense. Any other photo bearing valid ID card issued by the Central /State Government.





Mode Of Selection





  1. Candidates are shortlisted for Tier-II Examination on the premise of their performance in Tier-I Examination. Normalized uncountable candidates are accustomed confirm benefit and for final choice.
  2. There will be separate category-wise cut-offs in Tier-I and future Tiers for various posts i.e. (i) DEO, (ii) DEO Grade 'A' and (iii) LDC/ JSA and PA.
  3. Candidates are shortlisted for Tier-III Examination on the premise of their performance in Tier-I + Tier-II subject to having scored a minimum of thirty third marks in Tier-II Examination .Tier-III Examination i.e. talent Test/ typewriting orchid qualifying in nature.
  4. Skill check in Tier-III for DEOs is obligatory for all the qualified candidates.
  5. Candidates are shortlisted for showing within the Document Verification on the premise of their performance in Tier-I + Tier-II subject to their qualifying the talent check as per the qualifying standards fastened by the Commission.
  6. Candidates happiness to scheduled Castes, scheduled Tribes, OBC, EWS, ESM and PwD classes could also be qualified by applying relaxed standards. if the Commission is of the opinion that enough numbers of candidates of those classes aren't possible to be accessible. So as to replenish the vacancies reserved for these classes.
  7. Final choice and allocation of Ministries/ Departments/ Offices to the candidates qualified within the Document Verification will be created on the premise of their performance in Tier-I+Tier-II Examinations and the preference of Posts/ Departments confirmed by them at the time of Document Verification.
  8. Requirement of Physical normal, Physical potency Tests and Medical Standards for the post of Lower Division Clerk in BRO is out there at Annexure-XV. Candidates must make sure that they fulfill all the specified standards before choosing the post of Lower Division Clerk. Posts once allotted as per benefit-cum-preference given by candidates won't be modified later on because of failure of the candidates to qualify in these Standards.
  9. Once a candidate has been allocated first accessible preference, as per merit, he/she will not be thought-about for the other choice.
